This is a list of authors who requested their articles to not be deleted upon rewrite but rather kept on the site to preserve their work for a variety of different reasons. You can view it as a special type of archive, although they are still considered "on-site". While archives are beloved or famous articles whose code is kept on the wiki, legacy pages are kept directly on a hub for people to read.
In the case where these pages get rewritten (keep in mind an application would still require author approval at first), the original work will be relocated onto the Alternative Pages Hub, with the alternate tag, as well as the specific legacy tag.
Unlike the former disallowed rewrite list, collaborative, co-written pages and rewrites can be put on this list.
To be on this list, you have to apply through [PLACEHOLDER this form], so as to avoid abuse of the system.
