Level 51.1 - "What lies below Hoofstad"

Inner Labyrinth

  • Anthony's context: with Charlie gone, his relation with Katya severely worsened.
    • Katya barely see anyone and struggles with talking about her feelings, making her time alone feel like hell where she overfeel everything. She doesn't want people to see her this way, and her only true other friend seems cut away from reality, making her feel like she's alone in her feelings.
    • Anthony copes by not thinking about the disparition. He tries to ignore it and put it in the back of his mind to not be affected, but this hinders his capacities to interact with what reminds him of Charlie. Katya sees it as being unbothered by the disparition which she takes badly, especially since Anthony always ignores the subject.
  • Both grieve in different ways but them being on different wavelength makes discussion difficult. They make things worse by talking to each other instead of helping. Over time, instead of being together to ease up the pain, they leave each other as they view the other as "unhelpful", but greatly miss the other person, they miss when things where simpler, how things were back then.
  • Parralel to Hermes' situation, with their relation with Hippocrates worsening as small differences and disagreement get exagerated beyond reason. Both want the best for wanderers, but think the other doesn't because they do stuff wrong.
  • Olivia's context: now ressusitated, olivia struggles with accepting her new form, her new life. She still misses Tournesol despite not being fully consumed by grief anymore. She hasn't completely moved on yet. She needs more time to adapt to her new situation, fully convince herself that Tournesol would want her to move on (she knows he wants her to but struggles to really do it). She also feels like Justin is doing too much for her but ultimately fails to understand her struggles (because she doesn't really voice it, it's hard for her). She wants more space for herself but again, struggles with expressing it, making Justin feeling like he's doing something bad without understanding why exactly. Different wavelength making the situation hard to solve.
  • the sublevel is an inner travel where the character has to face their inner fears and struggles alone to find the "treasure" that is rumored to help fixing relationships, but in reality the real treasure is understanding yourself and the importance and being open and telling your feelings.
  • the sublevel is a cave whose entrance is located inside the Morphean Presbynaos, and can be "prescribed" by a priest sensing struggles in one's soul linked to a failing relationship (not about Philia cuz it's not necessarely love)
  • lots of people got in but nobody ever told anyone what the true treasure was. It's a guarded secret by anyone who exited it as they understand that to work you need to undergo the whole journey. It's also why there are no record of what it really is.

Both view the other as unhelpful and unbothered by the disparition due to how they react differently + don't interact enough anymore
